Power outage schedules to be in place on Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00 – Ukrenergo

Hourly power outages for residential consumers are scheduled for Sunday, December 8, from 14:00 to 18:00, with one group of consumers affected at a time.

Ukrainian energy company Ukrenergo reported this on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

From 9:00 to 19:00 on Sunday, electricity usage will be restricted for businesses and industries.

Thanks to large-scale restoration efforts, energy workers are gradually improving the power system flowing a massive attack on November 28.

"Repair work is ongoing. Energy workers are striving to restore the damaged equipment as quickly as possible," the company emphasized.

The timing and sce of restrictions may change throughout the day. Up-to-date information for specific regions will be available on the Oblenergo (regional energy company) website or official social media pages.

Residents are urged to use electricity sparingly when power is restored according to the schedule.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, and South Ukraine nuclear power plants have nearly fully resumed electricity generation after a significant reduction in capacity last week. This precautionary measure was taken amid renewed Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy system.
