War update: 163 clashes on frontline, over 100 invaders killed on Pokrovsk front

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook at 22:00 on Friday, December 6.

"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 163 combat clashes, the enemy launched two missile strikes (two missiles), seven air strikes (including 13 guided bombs), and 512 kamikaze drone attacks, as well as 3,270 artillery shelling attacks of our tros' positions," the message reads.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian invaders attempted to storm the Ukrainian positions five times but were repelled near Vovchansk, Tykhe, and towards Vysoka Yaruha and Kozacha Lan.

Estimated enemy losses in this sector included 87 invaders killed or wounded, one artillery system, four AFVs, 17 UAVs, three vehicles, one unit of special equipment destroyed, as well as damage to one AFV and four vehicles.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian fortifications nine times near Kisnykivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, and Zapadne. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Cherneshchyna, Hrekivka, Kanky, Nadiia, Makiivka, Torske, and Terny. All attacks were repelled.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three attempts by invaders to advance were unsuccessful near Bila Hora and Stupochky. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces made eight attempts to storm Ukrainian positions near Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka. Two attacks are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russians have carried out 44 storming and offensive actions throughout the day. The highest activity was in the areas of Myriubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zhovte, and Chumatske. Three clashes are still ongoing.

Enemy losses in this sector were 107 killed and 172 wounded, with Ukrainian forces destroying one AFV, five vehicles, two quads, a UAV contr antenna, and a motorcycle.

In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy launched 35 attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of Stari Terny, Zoria, Sontsivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, and Dalne. Currently, fighting continues at 11 locations.

In the Vremivka sector, six clashes are currently undrway, with the enemy having launched 20 assaults on the frontline near Uspenivka, Kostiantynske, Rozdne, Novodarivka, and Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy's attempt to advance near Novodanylivka failed. They also carried out airstrikes on the civilian infrastructure in Novavlivka and Zaporizhzhia using guided bombs.

In the Prydniprovske sector, three enemy attacks were repelled, with no success for the invaders.

The Russia’s Kursk region, intense fighting continues, with Ukrainian defenders inflicting significant losses on the Russian invaders.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine highlighted the bravery and resilience of the 68th Separate Ranger Brigade named after eksa Dovbush, the 425t Separate Assault Battalion Skelia, and the 48th Separate Assault Battalion named after Noman Çelebicihan for their steadfast defense against overwhelming enemy forces.
