Crimeans fined RUB 23.7 million for “discrediting the Russian army” –
This was reported by the Presidential Mission in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukrinform reports.
"New illegal administrative proceedings in the occupation courts of Crimea under the article on the so-called "discrediting the Russian Armed Forces" also testify to the growing resistance. As of 11 July 2024, 847 cases of materials drawn up under Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation were submitted to the so-called "courts" in the temporarily occupied Crimea and other competent authorities. In 755 of these cases, a decision was made to impose an administrative penalty in the form of a fine or to join another case under another article and make a cumulative decision," the report says.

It is noted that in total, the total amount of fines imposed is already at least 23.7 million Russian rubles (almost UAH 11 million).
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that as of March 2024, the occupiers had ened almost 700 cases in Crimea for "discrediting the Russian army".
