More than 30 heads of foreign diplomatic missions visit site of Russian attack on Okhmatdyt
The visit was organized on the commission by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Ukrinform reports, citing the Foreign Ministry's press service.
The delegation of foreign ambassadors had the portunity to see the consequences of the barbaric Russian missile strike on a medical facility where civilians, including children, were being treated for cancer and other heavy illnesses.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Perebyinis called on representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations to respond decisively to this horrific war crime and to make every effort to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.
Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Director of Okhmatdyt Vodymyr Zhovnir were present at the site to inform foreign diplomats about the consequences of Russian terror.
The delegation included heads and representatives of diplomatic missions from the EU, NATO, UNHCR, UNDP, UNICEF, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Austria, Canada, Canada, France, Greece, Indonesia, Japan, Italy, Mexico, Mdova, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, North Macedonia, Pand, the Hy See, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Turkey, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom.
As reported by Ukrinform, a Russian missile destroyed two floors of the Okhmatdyt hospital building in Kyiv with an area of approximately 400 square meters. Two adults, including a doctor, were killed.
