In Tokmak, Zaporizhia Oblast, Kadyrov's units have begun an expansion effort to take control of local businesses. Their actions are reminiscent of the methods used to seize businesses in Mariupol.

According to Ukrainian partisans, fighters of the Russian 78th Regiment “Akhmat Pivnich” are actively preparing to seize the most profitable enterprises in Tokmak, Zaporizhia Oblast. After an inventory of the assets, they will be transferred under the control of structures from Grozny.
Currently, the occupation authorities are exerting systemic pressure on the owners of agricultural companies and retail chains.
According to Atesh agents, repressions against local businessmen are intensifying every day and are aimed at forcing them to voluntarily hand over their property to Kadyrov's supporters. The military threatens to fabricate criminal cases and conduct illegal inspections, which in fact are a formal basis for raider seizures.
