The girl is originally from Borodyanka, Kyiv region. Like others, she became interested in music and singing in her childhood. Maria followed her dream, so she first studied at a music school, and then entered the L. At the age of 22, the singer came to the casting for the first season of the show “X-Factor”. She managed to impress the judges, so the girl ended up on Igor Kondratyuk's team.

In the final, she lost to Alexei Kuznetsov. Interestingly, Dmitry Monatic, with whom Maria developed friendly relations, also participated in the project at the same time.
We became friends from the first days, we didn't have any grudges. At the beginning of his career, I took part in his concerts, I just came to support him, to listen. I always admired him as a person, as a creative unit,

Three years after the project, Masha Rak took a break from her singing career because she chose family.
In 2021, she reminded herself again by coming to the “Voice of the Country” project. All the coaches turned to the girl, but she chose Dmitry Monatik as her coach.

When the vocal battles came, Dmitry preferred another girl. Maria had a chance to continue her participation if someone “stole” her from the other coaches. However, she refused, saying that she wanted to work only with her old friend.
Tina Karol intervened in the situation, accusing the participant of manipulation. As a result, the singer was persuaded to steal. She was chosen by Nadya Dorofeeva, to which the singer replied: “Okay.” Tina replied: “No, thank you.”
Personal life
After “X-Factor”, Maria married The Maneken bass guitarist Alexander Chunin and gave birth to a son.

For three years I was fanatically engaged in the child, her upbringing. Home birth, eco-motherhood, only breastfeeding, co-sleeping – all this required a lot of attention and strength. And I was very exhausted during this period. And it carried me specifically. I thought that motherhood was my calling, that I really needed to be a doula. I baked bread myself, we lived in the country, in the forest, without communication for 2-3 weeks. There was a period when we simply moved from place to place,

In 2020, family life fell apart. The artist called the reason for the divorce “complete imbalance.”
