Zelensky, Trudeau discuss defense coeration
Zelensky posted on Telegram that during the meeting, both parties discussed the security situation, defense coeration and preparations for the NATO summit in Washington.
"A meaningful meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. I am grateful to Canada for defense support and the preparation of future packages, in particular for sending armored medevacs and other armored vehicles. We discussed the security situation, defense coeration and preparations for the NATO summit in Washington," Zelensky said.

According to him, the main focus of the meeting was on preparations for the Global Peace Summit and its expected results.
"We also discussed the practical activities of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children, in which Canada is the initiator and co-leader," Zelensky said.
Zelensky is expected to hd a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the G7 summit. He has already held talks with the host of the summit, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
