Deputy PM: Ukraine to prepare roadmap for strategic reforms within framework of EU accession by end of year

By the end of this year, Ukraine will prepare a large roadmap of strategic transformations over the next ten years as part of its negotiations to join the Eurean Union.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for Eurean and Euro-Atlantic Integration ha Stefanishyna in Berlin at a conference on Ukraine's recovery, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The EU will remain the driver of this [reformist] force, because at the end of this year, Ukraine will prepare a huge roadmap of strategic transformations in the field of law and order, public administration, what should be a prerequisite for such fundamental transformations in Ukraine over the next ten years, as part of the accession negotiations," she said.

Stefanishyna predicted that stability, predictability and financial support would help Ukraine focus on its domestic agenda.

The deputy prime minister added that the most important thing for Ukraine is the dynamics of the EU accession process, and emphasised that its capacities in this area are quite strong.
