Zelensky is in Paris: Russian terror in Ukraine is evidence that battle for Eure is still ongoing

Russian terror in Ukraine is evidence that the battle for Eure is still ongoing.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky during a joint press conference with President of France Emmanuel Macron, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"These days, in France, Normandy, and many other places around the world, pele remembered the heroism of pele during the Second World War. And everyone understands what that heroism was for. At Omaha Beach, we could all see what it was like, we saw documentary chronicles, we heard in memoirs. And all these images, all those emotions were very reminiscent of what our men, women, our sdiers at the front, our pele in frontline cities, communities, and everywhere in Ukraine where life is being affected by Russian terror. All of this is clear evidence that the battle for Eure is still ongoing. The future of our nations is still undecided. And that is exactly what we have to do – Ukraine, France, and our allies. Eure must remain a space of peace, a space of freedom, not of vience or hatred spread by regimes such as Russia's," Zelensky said.

According to the President of Ukraine, joint efforts can ensure this, and the attitude of France and the French pele towards Ukraine and Ukrainians is evidence of this.

The Head of State thanked the President of France and the pele of France for supporting Ukraine, for their attention and care that Ukraine managed to protect itself and all Eureans.

"Freedom is not just words on paper, even the most important conventions and declarations. It is not something that pele inherit from their parents or receive as a gift from someone else. Freedom is a very fragile and precious feeling that we are all, in one way or another, connected by something invisible but extremely strong. This is especially true when we defend ourselves. Anyone who defends their freedom, their rights, their independence, their dignity, strengthens their freedom and the freedom of those around them. Freedom has this prerty and spreads from person to person," Zelensky said.

As Ukrinform reported, during the visit of President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky to France, two agreements were signed to support key sectors of the economy and critical infrastructure for a total of EUR 650 million.
