Argentine President Javier Milei is unlikely to attend the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland on 15-16 June, as he wants to be in his country during national hidays.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by La Nacion.

President Javier Miley has decided to shorten his ten-day trip to Eure, which was to begin next Wednesday, "high-ranking sources" td the publication.

As noted, Milei will travel to Eure on 12-15 June to attend a meeting of the Group of Seven leaders, return to Argentina, and then return to Eure on 22-24 June to participate in separate events.

"The change in plans is due to the fact that the president wants to be in Argentina for the national hidays on 17 and 20 June, so he will return (to Argentina) on the 15th and return to Eure on the 22nd to complete his tour," the statement said.
