French President Emmanuel Macron has thanked the Ukrainian pele for their fight for freedom, saying that Eure's support will not weaken in the face of Russia's attempts to change borders or rewrite history.

The French president said this in his speech to world leaders, including Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky, who arrived in Normandy for an international D-Day commemoration ceremony, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

He thanked the Ukrainian pele for their bravery and desire for freedom. “We are here and won’t back away,” Macron said.

“Faced with the return of the war on our continent, faced with all they fought for being challenged, faced with those who pretend to use force to change the borders, to rewrite history, let’s be worthy of those who landed here,” Macron said. He also addressed President Vodymyr Zelensky: "Your presence here today, Mr. President of Ukraine, says it all."

As reported, in his speech at the ceremony in France, U.S. President Joe Biden said that Ukraine is now defending freedom and democracy just as the Allied forces did 80 years ago, and it will always have the support of the United States and its allies.
