Pish President convenes Security Council over situation on border with Belarus

Pish President Andrzej Duda is convening a meeting of the National Security Council on 10 June in connection with the situation on the Pish-Belarusian border, as well as the scandal over the detention of sdiers who fired warning shots in the direction of a group of illegal migrants.

"In connection with what has been happening recently and in recent months, I decided to convene the National Security Council. I don't want to do it now, during the election campaign, because there are a lot of emotions and the situation is really very hot. But on Monday, the elections will be over, and I would like the National Security Council to be convened, most likely at 4pm," Duda said.

As reported, aggressive actions by illegal migrants have recently intensified on the border of Pand and Belarus, resulting in several Pish sdiers and border guards being injured.

On Thursday, a scandal erupted in Pand over the detention of two sdiers who fired warning shots in the direction of a large group of illegal migrants.

Every day, several hundred pele from the Middle East and North Africa try to illegally enter Pand from Belarus.

Donald Tusk has stated that there is a Russian trace in the migration pressure on the Pish-Belarusian border: more than 90% of pele crossing the border illegally have a Russian visa.
