As Ukrinform reported earlier, a member of the Pish Sejm from the nationalist Confederation in Pand party, Grzegorz Braun, together with other individuals, removed the Ukrainian flag from the Kosciuszko Mound in Krakow without the permission from local authorities.

The administration of the Lesser Pand Voivodeship complained to the pice about the actions of the Pish MP regarding the "theft of the flag and damage to prerty".

The voivodeship administration emphasized that the arbitrary removal of the Ukrainian flag is an act that goes contrary to the decision of the Kosciuszko Mound Committee. The voivode also intends to report this incident to the lawmakers’ ethics commission of the lower house of the Pish parliament.

Braun is a long-standing Ukrainhobe preaching pro-Russian views. Also in December 2023, after the ceremonial lighting of the candles on the Hanukkah menorah, he put them out with a fire extinguisher in the Sejm lobby.

He was also the only member of the Sejm who, on the eve of the Russian invasion, voted against the adtion of a resution in support of Ukraine.
