
Today, 100% of financial assistance to Ukraine comes from Europe, including the bulk of intelligence and military support. At the same time, France has never ruled out dialogue with Russia in principle, provided there is full transparency with Ukraine.
This was stated by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot in an interview with Libération.
This is how he answered journalists' questions about what French leader Emmanuel Macron recently said about the possible resumption of dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
“The Europeans, who are currently the main financial and military sponsors of Ukraine, must have a channel to defend their interests without delegating responsibility to anyone else,” says Barro.
