Queues on the Ukrainian-Polish border – the State Border Service of Ukraine told where to wait the longest

Queues have formed at some checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border. To save time, if possible, choose checkpoints with fewer vehicles.

The State Border Service of Ukraine reports this on its own social networks.

What is the situation at the border?

As of 7:00 p.m. on May 27, border guards reported a large number of vehicles at some checkpoints. The largest queues are at the following points of exit from Ukraine:

  • “Shegyny” – about 170 cars;
  • “Krakivets” – about 50 cars. Also at this checkpoint, 4 buses are waiting for departure.
  • “Ustylug” – about 10 cars.

The situation is significantly better when entering Ukraine. The largest number of cars is in “Krakivka” – about 30. Next to “Ustyluh” – about 10 cars.

There are currently no queues at other checkpoints. The State Border Guard Service advises planning your route in advance and, if possible, choosing less busy routes to reduce waiting time.

How to avoid queues at the border?

The Ministry of Development of Ukraine plans to launch an electronic queue for passenger cars through Diya, the website and mobile application “eQueues”. They also plan to introduce automatic verification of the “Green Card” and improve priority passage for trucks with the integration of customs documents.
