Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven has been temporarily suspended from fighting after losing his fight against Oleksandr Usyk for the WBC heavyweight world title.
The fight between Usyk and Verhoeven ended in an early victory for the Ukrainian champion: one second before the end of the 11th round, the referee recorded a technical knockout of Rico. This decision was preceded by a knockdown and a series of blows from the Ukrainian.
