More and more food establishments were opened in Ukraine in 2025. Some of the companies entered the markets of Europe, Asia, and the USA, while others opened over 100 new outlets in Ukraine.

MULTI COOK topped the ranking with 150 new locations in Ukraine. The company also announced 40 openings abroad, Poster writes.
The manufacturer of semi-finished products “Galya Baluvana” retained second place, opening 129 new locations in 2025. For comparison, in 2024 the chain opened 70 points. The following places were taken:
- “Fine Ice” – 3rd place, 81 establishments;
- Gabar – 4th place, 55 establishments;
- “Family Bakery” – 5th place, 55 establishments;
- Pizza Day – 6th place, 54 establishments.

- Lviv Croissants ranked 8th in the Ukrainian ranking with 15 new locations. The company also expanded outside of Ukraine and opened locations in: France (1), South Korea (1), Czech Republic (1), USA (2), Poland (3).
- Zaporizhzhia-based coffee shop chain CoffeeArt is in 9th place with 13 new locations. The owners also announced the development of other projects: MavraAzia (1), MavraPizza (1), Josper SVINTUZ (11).
- The founder of Gastrofamily, Olena Borisova, noted that in 2025 the group opened 4 establishments: 1 in Ukraine (Kharkiv) and 3 abroad (Bratislava, Poznan, Lodz). The format of the openings is “White Fill” .
- Olga Kopylova, the owner of the “Chornomorka” chain, spoke about 11 new restaurants: 6 in Europe and 5 in Ukraine. Among the developing countries are Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Moldova.
- McDonald's announced 12 new locations to open in 2025.
- KFC opened 5 establishments: two in Odessa, one each in Lviv, Rivne, and Kolomyia.
- The Kyiv Shawarma No. 1 chain opened 8 establishments in 2025. At the same time, the company closed 34 locations, 25 of which were due to the demolition of MAFs. For comparison: in 2024, the chain was in 6th place with 25 new locations.
- LA P'E'C opened 19 mini-pizzerias of the new Pizza Hot format, but reported that all locations were closed after a Russian missile hit the production facility in November 2025.
- In 2025, !FEST opened 10 establishments in Ukraine (including 7 “Pyana Vyshnya”, 2 “Reberni”, restaurant “Pani Frida” ) and 5 abroad (including Lithuania, France, Portugal).
