On January 28, 2026, a tragic car crash transpired on the P-06 route “Mykolaiv – Blagovishchenske”. Preliminary findings suggest that the operator of a Toyota Camry vehicle, born in 1988, while heading toward the village of Golovanivsk, veered into the opposite lane. Subsequently, it impacted a Renault Megane vehicle, operated by an individual born in 1986, who was traveling within their designated lane.

Following the crash, the driver of the Renault Megane passed away on location. The passenger in the same vehicle, born in 1977, sustained injuries and was admitted to the hospital.
Detectives have opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning this occurrence.
