On Saturday, May 23, thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail are forecast in several regions of Ukraine. However, the temperature will reach +30 degrees.
No significant precipitation is forecast in most regions, according to forecasters from the Ukrainian Meteorological Center.
What will the weather be like in the near future?
On Friday, May 23, partly cloudy weather is expected in Ukraine. In the eastern, southern, as well as in Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions, short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible during the day, while in the rest of Ukraine the day will pass without significant precipitation.
Forecasters warn that in the regions the thunderstorm will be accompanied by hail and gusts of wind at a speed of 15-20 meters per second. Because of this, the I level of danger – yellow – has been declared in the indicated regions.

The wind across the country will be predominantly northerly, 5-10 meters per second, and in the eastern regions – southeasterly. The air temperature at night will be 12-17 degrees Celsius, in the western regions it will be cooler – 8-13 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to 21-26 degrees, and in the southeastern part of the country the temperature will reach 30 degrees Celsius in places.
No precipitation is forecast in Kyiv and the region on May 23. In the capital, 15-17 degrees Celsius is expected at night, and 22-24 degrees Celsius during the day. In the region, the temperature will range from 12-17 degrees Celsius at night to 21-26 degrees Celsius during the day.
