Thunderstorms will hit Ukraine on May 22-23. Squalls and hail are also forecast in some places.
In general, the bad weather will cover almost all of Ukraine. This is reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
Where and when will the bad weather occur?
Thunderstorms are expected everywhere on Friday, except for most western regions. Also, hail and squalls of 15-20 meters per second are possible in places in the southern, central (except Poltava) and Kharkiv regions.

The bad weather will continue on Saturday. In the afternoon, thunderstorms will occur in the eastern, southern, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions, and in some areas, hail and squalls of 15-20 meters per second.
The Kirovograd Hydrometeorological Center specified that hail with a diameter of 6–19 millimeters is possible, and in Cherkasy, that squalls will reach 17–22 meters per second.
Due to the bad weather, a level I danger level, yellow, has been declared. Such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, construction, utility companies, and transport.

By the way, the heat in Ukraine, which came from areas of Pakistan, will soon be replaced by fresh air from the Baltics. So while the western part of Europe will be under the influence of abnormal heat, a completely different weather scenario is expected in Ukraine – a slight cooling.
