The 70th anniversary Eurovision Song Contest was recently held in Vienna. The grand show at the Suspilne was watched by millions of Ukrainians, and the broadcaster broadcast it on all platforms.

According to Suspilny, viewers' interest in Eurovision has increased compared to previous years. The broadcaster broadcast three pre-shows, two semi-finals and the grand final. In total, the show was watched 6.7 million times on the channel, and the number of unique viewers was 2.9 million .

The number of views increased by 14% and the number of unique viewers increased by 5%. The live broadcast of the second semi-final, where LELÉKA performed, was watched by 903 thousand viewers , and the audience share was 9.24%.

The live broadcast of the grand final was watched by 1 million 472 thousand viewers, a television audience increase of 11%. The average share was 16.45%, and when the winner was announced it increased to 25.13%.

On the public's digital platforms, Eurovision-related content received almost 55 million views .

Eurovision 2026: the main thing

Vienna hosted Eurovision 2026 after the victory of Austrian singer JJ with the song Wasted Love. The first semi-final was held on May 12, the second on May 14, and the grand final on May 16.

The representative of Ukraine, LELÉKA, performed in the second semi-final with the song Ridnym. She advanced to the grand final and took 9th place according to the results of the jury and audience votes.

The winner of the 70th anniversary song contest was Bulgaria's Dara (516 points). Her song Bangaranga took 1st place in the top 50 Ukraine on Spotify, but later dropped to 3rd place.

Second place went to Noam Bettan from Israel (343 points), and third place went to Alexandra Capitanescu from Romania (296 points).
