How was the fourth day of the 2026 World Cup?
- In Group A, Finland defeated the United States 6-2. The Finns took the lead in the first two periods, scoring five goals, before the US coaching staff replaced the goalkeeper. In the final period, the opponents outscored each other to tie the game.
- In another match in this group, Switzerland defeated Germany with a crushing score of 6:1. At the same time, the Swiss hockey players scored as many as five goals in the second period.
- In Group B, Canada crushed Denmark 5-1, cementing their lead. The first two periods were scoreless, but in the third 20-minute period, the teams scored six goals in two.
- Also in this pool was a match between Sweden and the Czech Republic, which ended with a strong-willed victory for the Czech hockey players in a very close match with a score of 4:3.
