Svitolina won her first WTA 1000 title in eight years in Rome. In the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, the Ukrainian defeated Coco Gauff in three sets. This is Svitolina's second trophy since the beginning of the season, after winning the WTA 250 tournament in Auckland in January.
