Olympic track champion arrested for dangerous driving: she was driving at a speed of 167 km/h

Olympic running champion Sha'Kerry Richardson has been arrested for speeding, BBC Sport reported.

The 25-year-old track and field athlete was taken to a police station in Orange, Florida on Thursday, January 25. Richardson was arrested and charged with reckless driving and speeding over 104 mph. 167 km/h .

A spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department told BBC Sport that Richardson was driving at a high rate of speed, swerving across lanes to pass other drivers. As a result, bail was set at $500.
