On the night of May 15, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of successful attacks on key Russian military and infrastructure facilities.

Among the targets hit was the Ryazansky oil refinery in Ryazan, Russia. A large-scale fire was recorded on the territory of the enterprise.
The plant is one of the largest in Russia, with a capacity of about 17 million tons of oil per year. It produces gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, which are used to meet the needs of the Russian troops, the General Staff reported.
In addition, Ukrainian forces hit a small missile boat and a minesweeper at the Kaspiysk base, the General Staff reported.
