Ukraine and NUBiP will train personnel for international agricultural projects
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine have signed a memorandum of cooperation, the Ministry of Economy reported. The document provides for a new format of interaction between the state, education and science.
The memorandum was signed by Deputy Minister Denys Bashlyk and Rector of NUBiP Vadym Tkachuk.
As part of the cooperation, they plan to launch joint internship, practical training, and professional exchange programs for students and young professionals. Future specialists will work with practical cases in the areas of agrarian policy, economics, natural resource management, and ecological modernization.
Students will also gain experience in collaborating with government agencies, international initiatives, and food security programs.
Ukraine is developing agrohubs in African countries
One of the key areas of cooperation will be training personnel for international agricultural projects in Africa. This primarily concerns work in agrohubs – food processing and distribution centers.
Through such projects, Ukraine helps partners develop local processing, strengthen food security, and introduce modern agricultural technologies.
In April, Ukraine opened its first agrohub in the Republic of Ghana. It became an example of a new approach to international support, where the country not only supplies products, but also transfers its own expertise and helps create long-term economic opportunities.
The Ministry of Economy emphasizes that the development of human capital is an important component of economic recovery and strengthening Ukraine's role in ensuring global food security.
