
The Serbian women's volleyball team will start this year's Nations League without diagonal player Tijana Bošković. The corresponding squad for the team preparing for the start of the tournament was published on the official website of the local federation.
Bošković played for Turkish club Vakifbank in the 2025/26 season, winning the Women's Champions League. Thanks to her performance in the tournament, the Serbian volleyball player received the “Best Player” award at the Final Four of the Champions League.
Boskovic scored 67 points in the Final Four. The Serbian diagonal forward has a total of 217 points in this year's Champions League.
Bošković ranked third among all participants in the most prestigious European tournament in terms of points scored. The Serbian volleyball player lost 25 points to leader Ekaterina Antropova.
As part of the Serbian national team, Bošković became a two-time Olympic medalist – silver in 2016 and bronze in 2020. The volleyball player also has two gold medals at the 2018 and 2022 World Championships.
In 2025, the Serbian national team finished 15th in the Nations League standings and failed to reach the final round of the tournament. The team's best result in the tournament is a bronze medal in 2022.
Serbia will begin their Nations League campaign with a match against Thailand on June 3.
