Latvia to hand over 14 more cars seized from drunk drivers to Ukraine
That's according to Delfi, Ukrinform reports.
Some of these vehicles will be sent to the army units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a municipal medical enterprise in the Izium district, Kharkiv region, the Arbuzynka Village Council of the Mykaiv region, a military unit of the National Guard, the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Council of the Khmelnytskyi region, and the Kytaihorod Village Council of the Khmelnytskyi region.
The preliminary market value of the vehicles is almost EUR 70,000.

The cars will be delivered from Latvia to Ukraine as part of the "Twitter Convoy" project.
According to the law on support for the civilian pulation in Ukraine, vehicles belonging to Latvia can be transferred to the ownership of the Ukrainian authorities free of charge.
In 2023, Latvia handed over to Ukraine more than 270 cars confiscated from drunk drivers, worth about EUR 1 million.
