On Monday evening, May 11, information emerged that detectives from the NABU and SAPO are conducting investigative actions related to the former head of the OP, Andriy Yermak. There is currently no official confirmation of this.
However, sources from “Ukrainian Pravda” noted that investigative actions are ongoing.
What is known about the new details of the investigation into the Yermak case?
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that NABU is allegedly working on an investigation. He did not name the person involved, but ironically wrote that investigators are working with someone “very similar to a great magician.”
For his part, a journalist from “Scheme”, who was at the scene of the events, informed that the prosecutor of the Administrative Offenses Office, Valentyna Hrebenyuk, got into Andriy Yermak's car. She stayed there for about 10 minutes.

What is known about the Yermak case?
On Friday, November 28, 2025, NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors searched the residence of the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak. This happened after the disclosure of the schemes in the “Midas” case.
Earlier, the head of the SAPO, Oleksandr Klymenko, stated that “Ali Baba” allegedly coordinated tasks to put pressure on the NABU and the SAPO. The media suggested that this pseudonym may be associated with the initials of Andriy Borisovych Yermak.
Subsequently, Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Yermak from the post of head of the Presidential Office. The official himself submitted his resignation on November 28, after which the decision was officially approved.
At the same time, at the end of March, NABU reported that in the so-called “Mindich tapes” Andriy Yermak is mentioned under a different pseudonym – “Surgeon”.
What did the former head of the OP do after his dismissal?
In February, it was reported that after his dismissal as head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak had almost disappeared from public view and was leading a secluded lifestyle in Kyiv. According to sources, he regularly visits the gym accompanied by heavy security and avoids public events.
At the same time, Yermak returned to his legal practice and, according to interlocutors, continues to maintain contacts with influential people, maintaining informal influence on important processes in the country.
Martyna Bohuslavets, a representative of the Anti-Corruption Center “Mezha”, believes that the resumption of legal practice may be an attempt to distance herself from possible suspicions. At the same time, she emphasized that the status of a lawyer will not become an obstacle to the work of the NABU and the SAPO if there are grounds for investigative actions.
In addition, Andriy Yermak was elected chairman of one of the committees of the National Bar Association of Ukraine.
Former presidential press secretary Yulia Mendel also made a resonant statement about the former head of the OP. According to her, Yermak was allegedly interested in magical practices, invited magicians from different countries to Ukraine, and organized certain rituals.
