
In the capital, the school year for schoolchildren will end on May 29. In June, educational institutions will operate in the format of additional classes and support programs.
This was announced by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Valentyn Mondryivskyi.
For 11th grade graduates , the format of education may change in May — schools will switch to an individual-group model if necessary. This will allow students to focus on entrance subjects and exam preparation.
The issuance of education documents will be carried out in compliance with security requirements:
- primary education – from June 1 to 5;
- basic average – from June 8 to 12;
- full general secondary school – from June 19 to 26.
In June, the main emphasis will be on overcoming educational losses. To this end, schools will organize additional classes, clubs, and student support programs.
There will also be training practices on the subject “Defense of Ukraine”, trainings on tactical medicine, mine safety and civil defense, as well as digital literacy classes.
In addition, language clubs, summer educational studios, creative workshops, and STEM activities will be organized for children.
