Detectives from the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in Kyiv have uncovered and shut down an illegal gas station. According to investigators, illegally produced fuel was being sold there.

The investigation established that the gas station operated without a license for retail fuel trade and without documents confirming the origin and quality of the products.
“During the authorized searches, two fuel dispensers, draft documentation, a fuel truck, and about 3,000 liters of illegally produced fuel were seized. The estimated value of the seized items is about UAH 2.5 million,” the report says.
Forensic examinations have been ordered in the case. The identification of persons involved in illegal activities is ongoing.
It was previously reported that BEB detectives liquidated an illegal gas station in the Brovary district. According to the investigation, fuel of dubious quality was sold there without any permits, retail licenses, quality certificates and confirmation of its origin. During the searches, 2 fuel storage tanks, 2 fuel distribution complexes and over 12 thousand liters of fuel were seized.
