After the government's resignation, the party of the Romanian Prime Minister announced its transition to opposition

Prime Minister Iliye Bolozhan's party decided to move into opposition after the Romanian parliament supported a vote of no confidence in his government.

This is reported by Digi24.

It is noted that the decision was made on the evening of May 5 during a meeting of the party's Politburo. After more than four hours of intense discussions, the majority of PNL members present voted to move the political force into opposition.

Bolozhan stated that in this way the party demonstrates a worthy reaction to the political situation.

“We had discussions about the future trajectory of the PNL, about what we should do next for Romania and the citizens of our country. With today's decision, the PNL confirms that it is a party with dignity, which in the coming years will work for the state, creating conditions for the well-being of our citizens,” he noted.

Thus, the National Liberal Party of Romania, after the political crisis and the resignation of the government, is moving into opposition activities.
