Warm and dry weather is expected in Ukraine on Wednesday, May 6. In some regions, the thermometer may even reach 30 degrees.
The Ukrhydrometeorological Center warns of an extreme level of fire danger for all regions of Ukraine, except for Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Crimea.
Which regions of Ukraine will be hit by the heat?
So, in a number of regions, the air temperature will range from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius . These are such areas as:
- Vinnytsia,
- Volynska,
- Zhytomyr,
- Ternopil
- Khmelnytskyi,
- Kyiv.
The thermometer will reach 25-30 degrees in regions such as
- Ivano-Frankivsk region,
- Rivne region,
- Chernihiv region.
The air temperature will be 23-28 degrees in Sumy and Cherkasy regions. The air may warm up to 27 degrees in Transcarpathia, Lviv, Chernivtsi and Mykolaiv regions.
The maximum temperature of 26 degrees is expected in the Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Odessa regions.
25 degrees will be visible on the thermometer in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions.
According to weather forecasters, the air temperature should not exceed 24 degrees in Zaporizhia and Poltava regions.
What will the weather be like in Ukraine in the near future?
Ukraine will experience stable and warm weather in the coming days without any drastic changes. According to Natalia Ptukha, a representative of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, this is due to a field of increased atmospheric pressure: there will be more sun, and the southwest wind will bring warm air masses.
The temperature at night will be +8…+15 degrees, during the day – +19…+26 degrees, in places up to +29 degrees. These indicators are generally within the climatic norm, although in some places they may exceed it by several degrees.
Forecaster Ihor Kibalchych adds that warming will be rapid and will be accompanied by short-term rains and thunderstorms in places. It will be warmest in the west and north of the country.
