What are the details of the attack?
According to police, the shooting occurred at around 5:00 p.m. in the village of Verba, Dubno District. Military alert groups and a police officer noticed a man walking with a bicycle in his hands.
When they approached to check their documents, the man started shooting with a machine gun. As a result, a soldier and a police officer were injured.
A criminal case has been opened for attempted murder. Police are searching for the attacker,

What is known about the attacker?
The head of the Rivne region police launched a special police operation. The attacker was identified as: Kalinin Pavlo Serhiyovych, 48 years old, thin build, 170 centimeters tall, short hair with gray hair. He was dressed in camouflage.
In less than a day, law enforcement officers found and detained the shooter. The man was hiding in the basement of an abandoned house in the village of Verba, Dubno District. During the detention, an assault rifle, ammunition, and a grenade were seized from him.
Investigators are currently working with him. The hiding place is being inspected, and forensic experts, with the participation of the explosives service, are seizing weapons and ammunition.
