The Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has reported suspicions to the general director of a private company and a private notary. They are accused of illegally extending the company's right to lease land.
This was reported today, April 30, by the press services of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv and the city prosecutor's office.
Law enforcement officers established that in 2003, a land plot in the Podilskyi district worth over UAH 12 million was leased to a construction company. The basis for this was a 5-year contract with the Kyiv City Council. After the contract expired in 2008, no decision was made to renew it.
According to the case materials, the defendants did not apply to the Kyiv City Council for an extension of the land lease agreement. Instead, in February 2022, the developer sought help from a private notary, who entered data into the register on the automatic extension of the agreement until November 21, 2028.
“As a result, during the illegal use of the land plot, a residential complex was built, which is currently not put into operation,” the police report said.
Law enforcement officers informed that the general director of the company and the notary were notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 362 Unauthorized modification of information processed in automated systems, committed by a person who has the right to access it, in prior conspiracy by a group of persons of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to six years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.
It was previously reported that a state registrar who illegally re-registered a land plot to her acquaintance will be tried in the capital. Law enforcement officers established that the land belongs to the Kyiv community, and its value is over 1.5 million hryvnias.
Also in Kyiv, the illegal state registration of a land plot with an area of 7.8 hectares was canceled. This is a plot worth over 405 million hryvnias within the landscape reserve of local importance in the Dnipro district. A private company purchased a complex of buildings from another enterprise and thus planned to obtain forest fund lands without a decision of the Kyiv City Council and use them for further development.
