“In court, the defendants did not admit their guilt, but based on the available evidence of the prosecution, the court found the men guilty and sentenced each of them to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. In addition, they must compensate the railway for all damages caused,” the report says.

Three men are currently in custody.

On April 9, the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reported that they had exposed the members of two groups that set fire to Ukrzaliznytsia relay cabinets in the capital and the region. According to law enforcement officers, one of the groups was led by a 50-year-old Russian living in the Moscow region. He recruited two accomplices via Telegram, who, on his instructions, allegedly set fire to a relay cabinet near the Darnytsia station. The Russian transferred the money via a crypto wallet, having previously received a video as proof of the completed task.
