With his victory over Norrie Sinner became only the second tennis player in history to win 20 ATP 1000 tournaments in a single season. The record holder for this indicator remains Serbian Novak Djokovic, who won 31 matches in a row in 2011.
In total, Sinner has 25 consecutive victories in ATP 1000 tournaments. In order to break Djokovic's record, the Italian needs to win six matches in a row.
