The Lviv Municipal Choir “Homin” continues to popularize Ukrainian songs abroad. The group is currently on tour in the USA and Canada.
During the tour, the “Homin” choir visited Niagara Falls, where they sang a song by Volodymyr Ivasyuk. The group published a corresponding video on their Instagram page.
In the video, members of the “Homin” choir, dressed in yellow raincoats, sing the song “Vodohrai” near Niagara Falls. This is one of the most famous tracks by the legendary Ukrainian composer Volodymyr Ivasyuk.
Ivasyuk wrote “Vodogray” when he was 21 years old. At that time, he was studying at the Chernivtsi Medical Institute. The composition is best known in the performance of Nazariy Yaremchuk and Myroslava Yezhelenko.

The “Homin” choir announced that it has already played 9 concerts from its North American tour. Tomorrow, April 29, the artists will perform in the capital of Canada – Ottawa. Then – Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and other cities. The mission of the group's concerts is to help the Defense Forces of Ukraine, according to the Lviv City Council website.
