The “Masha” from the “Mindich films” may not be Maria Berlinska, as previously claimed. It may be a different person.
This is stated in the material of “Ukrainian Pravda”. The video was released on YouTube on April 28, and the article on the website on the morning of April 29. The details were told by journalist Mykhailo Tkach.
Could Berlin not have been on the “Mindich tapes”?
As Mykhailo Tkach said, the media analyzed the entire conversation between Timur Mindich and Serhiy Shefir, its context, and spoke with sources in the defense sector. And they came to the conclusion that the audio recordings talk about another “Masha” – presumably Maria Dotsenko.
She is an advisor to the General Director of the National Investment Fund of Ukraine Joint Stock Company on issues of developing strategic partnerships with Middle Eastern countries.

“Ukrainska Pravda” asked for a comment from the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov. In response, Umerov's press service stated that they do not comment on fragments of texts whose authenticity is not confirmed by anything, nor do they make assumptions about specific individuals or circumstances,

Where did you get the information that “Masha” on “Mindich's tapes” is Berlinska?
The corresponding statement was made by former SAPO prosecutor Stanislav Bronevitskyi in his Telegram channel on April 23. According to him, he received the films from sources in law enforcement agencies.
Bronevitskyi cited Mindich's words that Rustem Umerov allegedly pays “Masha” – and indicated that he was talking about Berlin. Previously, the “tapes” had said that “Masha” had pressured Defense City and was receiving 20 thousand – apparently, dollars.
The ex-prosecutor concluded his post with the words “Did anti-corruption activist Berlinska have a 13th salary?”
Reference. Defence City is a special legal regime of state support for defense industry enterprises. It should transform the industry into a high-tech, sustainable and competitive cluster capable of scaling the production of weapons and military equipment. Enterprises can obtain the status of a Defence City resident – this happened for the first time in January 2026. However, the Public Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense (PARC MOU) in 2025 stated the risk of a manual regime.
In addition, Mykhailo Tkach read out the investigation's note on camera, stating that it was about Maria Berlinska.

On April 24, she published a post on her Telegram channel, calling the data released by Bronevitsky fake. She called for the actual tapes to be published.
I am not an “anti-corruption activist”, I deal with drones, this is a well-known fact. Umerov was a representative of the authorities, whom I systematically demanded to be dismissed. I can hardly imagine how he would have to pay me for harsh criticism of his incompetence,
– wrote Berlinska.
Finally, she added that she was addressed as Maria, “and everyone knows it.”
