The Jeffrey Epstein case files include David Blaine and David Copperfield, famous American illusionists. They exchanged dozens of messages with the disgraced financier, spoke frequently by phone, and scheduled in-person meetings.
This is evidenced by new materials declassified by the US Department of Justice, CNN writes in its investigation. The files show that after his conviction in 2008, Jeffrey Epstein continued to communicate closely with representatives of show business.
In 2013, illusionist David Blaine performed a trick with water and fish. Journalists confirmed that the man filmed the episode at Jeffrey Epstein's estate in New York.

The files noted that Epstein and David Blaine actively corresponded between 2012 and 2016. Although there are references to the men meeting as early as 2003.
The financier also invited the illusionist to private dinners, where other famous guests and officials were present. In one of the messages, Epstein asked Blaine if he would like to visit the White House. The case also contains testimonies from women who write that they met Epstein through Blaine (or vice versa).
How is Copperfield involved with Epstein?
The case also repeatedly mentions illusionist David Copperfield. The files include photos of the illusionist with several women, as well as a photo of Ghislaine Maxwell, taken on Epstein's island. However, neither David Blaine nor Copperfield have been charged so far.
Recall that in 2024, The Guardian newspaper published a story claiming that 16 women had accused David Copperfield of misconduct. Some of the alleged victims were minors. Three women claimed that the illusionist drugged them. Copperfield's lawyers denied all the allegations.
A month ago, David Copperfield announced that he was ending his 25-year career, writes Los Angeles Magazine. The reason for this decision was probably that his close ties with Jeffrey Epstein had come to light. The illusionist's last concert will take place on April 30.
