Moreover, he is considered the founder of pop music in Ukraine. “Invite me in your dreams”
This song was written back in 1974. Bohdan Stelmakh wrote the lyrics, and Volodymyr Ivasyuk wrote the music. The composition was first used in the play “Mesozoic History”, and then it was performed by Sofia Rotaru. An interesting fact is that the composer refused any fee, noting that he did it for his friend Bohdan.
Later, a performance by Nazariy Yaremchuk was released, which gave the song a new wave of popularity. And in August last year, the band “Druha Rika” performed the song “Zaprosy mene u sny” by Ivasyuk at the suggestion of Maria Yaremchuk, as an addition to the film “Yaremchuk: Incomparable World of Beauty”. The listeners were satisfied with the performance and left many positive reviews.

In addition to Volodymyr Ivasyuk, the composition was performed by Nazariy Yaremchuk, Kvitka Tsisyk, Vasyl Zinkevich, Taras Chubay, and others. Today, there are many interpretations, but the original remains the most beloved version of Ukrainians.
