During the informal summit of the European Union countries in Cyprus, three more countries joined the program for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine (PURL).
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu.
“We are grateful to the three countries. We agreed that this would be non-public information regarding which specific countries. The three countries joined the PURL program during Cyprus for the amount of about 300-350 million euros,” he said.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga announced new agreements with Zelensky during his trip to Cyprus regarding contributions to the PURL program.
