Oksana Mukha was born in Lviv and has been involved in music since childhood. She graduated from the Lviv Music College and the Lviv National Music Academy named after M. Lysenko in the violin class. Already during her studies, the young musician worked in the orchestra of the opera studio, and then became part of the chamber symphony orchestra “Leopolis”. Mukha's debut album was released in 2010. All the time, the singer popularized Ukrainian music, romances and folk songs. The voice took a lot of strength and resources, but it was right. The performer won with a Ukrainian-language song, there was no need to please anyone with foreign hits. It was enough to go out with your own, your own people, for Ukrainians to “get into it”: it turns out that we are a cool nation, we have such songs. Mucha admitted that after the project, she parted ways with the star coach, but she is grateful to him for everything.
After winning the grand prize, the singer's number of performances and tours increased. But the busy schedule was very exhausting for the woman.
How did the singer overcome cancer?
The singer discovered her illness on her own when she felt a lump. The results of the examination immediately turned the celebrity's life upside down – she had a malignant tumor. The singer decided to be treated in Italy. She did not tell her fans this terrible news, but only shared it with her closest people who helped her financially.
In the Italian capital, Mucha underwent chemotherapy and lived in a monastery. At that time, a full-scale war broke out in Ukraine. She was very worried about her loved ones, but she could not interrupt her treatment.
In September 2022, the singer announced that she had beaten cancer, but in less than six months the disease returned. In total, the woman underwent 16 chemotherapy treatments and noted that hair loss is not painful, the main thing is to have support and love on the side.
Personal life
Oksana Mukha is raising a son, Danylo, from her first marriage. The celebrity has a good relationship with her ex-husband, and he supported her wife during a difficult time in her life.
When the full-scale war began, the singer's son was in Ukraine. In March, the boy went to his mother abroad. The young man never dreamed of doing music, but said that in the future he would be a programmer. However, when he went to school in Rome, he began to study music outside of school. The boy has his own electric guitar and is actively learning it.
In 2020, the singer met true love. He was the artist Mykola (Niko) Strus from Lviv. He gave the celebrity a portrait, and the woman was impressed by how the man managed to capture her nature.
