A Russian drone with a warhead was found in the Dnipro River in Kyiv

Police officers recovered from the Dnipro a drone with a warhead that the Russian army launched yesterday, April 16, during a massive attack on Kyiv.

This was reported by the capital's National Police Department.

“A resident of the Holosiivskyi district reported the dangerous find to the police. During the inspection of the water area, law enforcement officers established that there was an enemy UAV with a warhead in the water,” the report states.

Explosives technicians rendered the munition safe and removed it for further destruction at a specialized landfill. It was previously reported to be a Geran-2 drone, which Russian troops used during the last combined attack on the capital.

On the night of April 16, the Russian army launched a combined strike on Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones. According to the city prosecutor's office, four people were killed. Among them was a child. More than 60 were injured. Destruction in the Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Desnyanskyi districts of the capital.

In total, 17 high-rise buildings, 10 private houses, a hotel, an office center, a car dealership, a gas station, and a shopping mall were damaged in Kyiv during the attack.

Russian troops also attacked the Kyiv region. Air defenses were ineffective. There were no deaths or injuries as a result of the strike, but there was minor damage to people's homes.
