At 6:00 p.m. Kyiv time, the president announced a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud. According to Zelensky, the conversation was productive and constructive.
He added that Saudi Arabia and Ukraine continue their cooperation within the framework of the strategic security agreement in three key areas. These include:
- export of Ukrainian experience and capabilities in the field of airspace protection;
- energy cooperation, which should strengthen Ukraine's resilience in difficult times;
- as well as the direction of food security.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that the parties will actively work to strengthen their peoples and partners.
Separately, Zelenskyy noted that the meeting set tasks for the teams. He expressed hope for their prompt and effective implementation.
At the same time, the partners exchanged assessments of the situation in the Middle East, including the Gulf region.
We hope that there will be more security, and we are helping to achieve this,

Zelenskyy arrived in Saudi Arabia
On Friday, April 24, President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Saudi Arabia for a visit. There, he is scheduled to meet with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud.
According to Zelensky, during a meeting with European leaders the day before, financial guarantees for Ukraine's stability were secured. Now, agreements are being developed with Saudi Arabia in the areas of security, energy, and infrastructure.

It is important that the strengthening is mutual. I appreciate the meaningful cooperation between our countries,
– the leader of Ukraine noted.
Recall that the parties had previously signed an agreement on defense cooperation. In particular, it provided for strengthening cooperation, new contacts, and joint work in the technological and energy spheres.
