The World Athletics Continental Tour season will continue with the traditional “gold” category competitions in Nairobi, Kenya – the Kip Keino Classic with the participation of two Ukrainian hammer throwers.

The tournament's entry in the men's competition included Mykhailo Kokhan, who had already won one gold medal in the 2026 season, winning the competition in Izmir, Turkey. In total, Kokhan made two starts this season – he took fourth place at the European Cup in throwing disciplines.
