Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur suffered a defeat in the second round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid. The 24-year-old tennis player lost to the world's top player, Iga Swiontek.
Snigur advanced to the main draw of the tournament in Madrid thanks to a victory in the qualifiers. At the start of the competition, the Ukrainian's opponent was Daria Kasatkina, who plays under the Australian flag. After three sets, the Ukrainian snatched victory in a super tiebreak and advanced to the second round.
