Motorola has introduced a new mid-range smartphone, the Edge 70 Pro, focusing on performance, a high-quality display, and battery life. The new product features a modern processor, water and dust resistance, and a powerful battery with very fast charging.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro has been officially launched in India, writes Gizmochina. The model has an emphasis on performance, endurance and a display that is close to flagships in terms of characteristics.
What does the new Motorola smartphone offer?
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. For stable operation under load, a cooling system with a large 4600 mm² evaporation chamber is provided.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.8-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The screen supports a refresh rate of 144 Hz, peak brightness of up to 5200 nits and HDR10+ technology. 10-bit color reproduction and Pantone certification are also claimed, which confirms the accuracy of the display.

Cameras are another important highlight. The main module has a 50 MP sensor with optical stabilization, as well as a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with macro support. The front camera is also 50 MP and can record video in 4K. Tools based on artificial intelligence are provided for photo processing.
By the way, additional features of the smartphone include:

The new product runs on Android 16. The manufacturer promises three years of operating system updates and five years of security patches.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro will be available in several Pantone-inspired colors: Lily White, Tea Green, and Titan. The base version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $415, while the configuration with 12GB of RAM costs $450. Sales start on April 29.
