On the evening of April 21, Ukrainians began reporting a failure at Kyivstar. Not everyone can reach the operator's subscribers. However, the company explained what happened.

What is known about the Kyivstar outage on April 21?
People complain that they cannot reach the network when calling numbers from other operators. During the call, the message “call error” appears.

At the same time, it should be said that this problem is not for everyone. Channel 24 correspondents conducted an experiment and found that some people managed to make a call from Kyivstar to Kyivstar, while others also received a call error.

But, for example, if you call Kyivstar subscribers via Telegram using Kyivstar mobile internet, the call goes through and the person on the other end of the wire hears the call. That is, the problem does not affect absolutely all users.
The outage occurred after 9 p.m. on April 21, and was noticed online. Users are also complaining about poor performance of Kyivstar's Wi-Fi network.
On the Downdetector website, which collects reports of problems with various sites, services, and applications, users also reported outages. 67 percent wrote that they had problems with voice calls, 16 percent with mobile signal, and 12 percent with mobile Internet.
In the evening, the number of such messages increased sharply and reached 138.

How did Kyivstar explain the outage on April 21?
Tetyana Oksyutenko, head of communications at Kyivstar, explained in a comment to Channel 24 : there was a minor technical failure.
Today, some subscribers experienced difficulties with outgoing calls. The service has now been restored, and the company is operating as usual. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience,
