How was the match?

  • In the 27th minute of the match, Everton striker Iliman Ndiaye received a through ball in the opponent's penalty area and sent the ball into the net. However, after reviewing the video replay, the referee disallowed the goal because the Senegalese forward was in an offside position.

  • Everton managed to fight back in the 54th minute. Mykolenko passed a long pass to midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who in turn spotted striker Betu, who was in the Liverpool penalty area.
